Regional Sales Manager – Midwest/Chicago area
PrimeraDx is a vibrant organization dedicated to the emerging field of molecular diagnostics. Fueled by innovation and a sense of urgency, we are creating an instrumentation platform capable of performing multiplexed quantitative and qualitative assays gaining importance in clinical research and molecular diagnostics while reducing laboratory costs.
Based in Mansfield, MA since 2005, we are a privately funded scientific and engineering company with nearly thirty (30) employees. Our proprietary technology, named STAR is uniquely positioned to address unmet needs currently impacting infectious disease and oncology diagnostics in that it provides the first technology capable of multiplexing with true quantification. Some of our current collaboration partners include The Cleveland Clinic and Massachusetts General Hospital.
Responsibilities:
· Represent PrimeraDx in the region
· Participate in strategy development for the adoption of PrimeraDx’s ICEPlex platform and assays
· Identify market opportunities and implement action plans for meeting sales forecasts
· Establish revenue targets
· Responsible for local market development activities
· Interface with Marketing on future product needs and opportunities
Qualifications
· Requires 3-5 years of experience in Molecular Diagnostics sales
· BS in Molecular Biology, a PhD is strongly preferred
· A self starter
· Experienced in remote location work and communication with head office
· Excellent understanding of the infectious disease space
· Ability to work in a start up environment
· Flexible with sense of urgency
· Willing to travel 50% of time
